Don't worry about the trip with ferry. Taking a train to Rotterdam is much more dangerous. And flying might not be the best alternative either.

Train collission a few days ago at Rotterdam Central.

Helikopter crashed into the North sea last night and was found on the beach of Texel this morning.

Ähmmm, shall we walk then ? Grin

Request for Paddy, a bit late admittedly. Do you have Eurosport available on the TV in your offices? If so, do you have the Ashes cricket from Australia available in Holland?

But it's on BBC2 so you can watch it anyway. I'm almost sure Paddy's got cable there. Since there's a small living area in there too.

This film should be played at high volume, so don't come complaining about it! And who the hell is Steve?

In that case chances are bigger you get the whole match live on some channel. BBC2 is a summary I think.

Well I've finally pulled my finger out and booked my travel.

I'm going by car and ferry. Out Friday morning in time to do some booze shopping and get to Rotterdam mid/late afternoon to join up for something to eat and a Lemonade or two!

Heading back on Sunday, leaving Rotterdam late morning/lunch time.

The savings on the wine will more than cover the cost of the trip and the wine itself will also keep Mrs Chenet happy!!!  Wink

Just seen the weather forcast for Friday, it looks like we are in for a rough crossing.

The Edmund Fitzgerald went down in a November storm with the loss of all hands and that was hell of a lot bigger than a North Sea Ferry.

http://www.ssefo.com/

Hi Bob,
A long way from the North sea though!

In the Maritime Sailors' Cathedral.
The church bell chimed till it rang twenty-nine times
For each man on the Edmund Fitzgerald.
The legend lives on from the Chippewa on down
Of the big lake they call 'Gitche Gumee'.
Superior, they said, never gives up her dead
When the gales of November come early!

Fresh water can be vicious too.
Phil
