Going on Sunday with my dad. My brother is there today and Sunday helping (or hindering) a friend of his run a red & white Mk 1 Zepher in one of the races.
I won't be dressing up, but I fear my old man will be.

Did anybody get any good pics from the weekend espcially the 8 Spit flypast, must have been awsome, gutted couldnt be there.

Here are a few (72!) pictures I took at the weekend and some few my wife took at the test day. I was only there Sunday so did not see the formation fly past. All in all a good day once the weather cheered up! http://rupert8766.fotopic.net/c1063853.html |

God it takes me back, my first 'climb was in 1980 at Loton Park and I later got to know some of the people in those photo's including Roy Lane, Martyn Griffiths and Rob Turnbull. Jeez I feel old... |

Hi As it says this is in Guernsey and has been on the RAC calender for a long time In this picture is the Tiga run by the dad of Andy Priaulx's who is the current WTC Champion. http://rupert8766.fotopic.net/p4092282.html huge money was spent on this car including, I think, NOS at one time. Grahams dad owned the local Fiat garage. I think he actually won some rounds in this car. Andy also went on, I think, to win the British Hillclimb Championship. Not sure in which car. >Martini... |

Don't despair Mr. Z, the fact that Roy Lane is STILL competing should make you feel a bit more youthful. Last spotted him charging up Shelsley Walsh over the August bank holiday in a very tasty 911RS. |

I read that Newey and Dario Franchitti both managed to crack up E-Types, with Franchitti's bang-up being serious enough to keep him from the last irl race of the season. The E-Type's probably safer than one of those sh**boxes, anyway. Probably for the best.
