I have to admit that I always felt the race was most likely to take place around the second weekend of June - 11th 12th 13th that sort of time (making the 9th and 10th next year a very real contender.) It is only recently that it seems to be the week later, which I think was influenced by the timing of some races in the American Le Mans series?? And for what it is worth, I remember going one year and it was the end of May (31st to 1st June) Think it might have been 1986?? I will not be booking the ferry quite yet. Grin

My Outlook calendar goes back that far, I've just been scrolling back through the years.

It was actually quite weird watching the years roll back and either remembering or imagining what was going on at the time, especially around the wars!

It goes back to the 1700's before the car! bloody hell!!!
