Will anyone be making the trip across the border to Knockhill on the weekend of the 22/23rd July for first Scottish Speedfair?
Event looks good with BARC classic sportscars, Jackie Stewart demonstating some of his past winners and a renunion of the Eccurie Ecosse cars and transporter amongst a packed bill.
This is a new event which hopes to become a Scottish Festival of Speed but without the Ego/paddock snobberies etc. It can only become a regular event if well supported though, so if anybody has a free weekend give it a go!
We will be there with a couple of our Rally Cars (there is a mini stage rally and rally car track demo too) We will be in the paddock with our 1970 works spec Skoda 120S and our 1968 SAAB 96, if you are coming up give me a shout and have a cold one with us, the BBQ will be on from 11AM!

There is no camping available at the circuit as the little bed wetters from MAX POWER trashed the place a few months ago and alas we have all been tarred with the same brush. We are looking into what is available near to the circuit. I will let you know as soon as something suitable turns up.

I know a few of the organising team for this event and they have been flat out trying to get this off the ground, please, please if you have nowt to do give it your support.

I have a couple of spare freebie tickets if anyone fancies it, PM me. Ticket price on the day is just £12.

Cheers
Si
