I'm sure there's sunnier days around the corner for the boy.

Until I get hold of him that is - he ruined my saturday too the thoughtless oaf! Don't worry though Andy, I'll bring a stapler from the office so I can 'do him up again'.

On a lighter note, Dave and Poppy's 9 children are 1 year old today, so Mark, I hope you have Chas' party all planned...

You're either at Le Mans, or waiting for Le Mans!

Fantastic news Andy, I'm sure he will soon be as good as new. Be sure it's only tennis balls you throw for him from now on. That is a stressful and expensive way to learn what should be oh so obvious to us all. I must admit I had never thought of the possible  consequences of throwing sticks for a dog

So it's heartfelt thanks from me and Dave to all the well wishers both on here and privately. Maison Blanche felt like a very long way from home on saturday and for the only time in my life I wished I wasn't at Le Mans, oh apart from that time when I was arrested (wrongfully of course). I'm sure there's sunnier days around the corner for the boy.

 Kiss Kiss Kiss

Oh my God! How touching - I think I am going to cry.

Just wait till you have Children!

Love and hugs to Dave

Glad to here Dave is ok. Having had a near miss when one of my Jack Russels went to grab a bamboo cane sticking out the field we were in, it shattered, fortunately only leaving a cut mouth.
Dogs being dogs, they would probably do it again. I heard one story of a Jack Russel having a go at a Staffordshire bull terrier the owners were looking after. It lost badly, but on the return from the vets with 100 odd stitches he had another go. Roll Eyes

My lab (mentioned earlier in the thread) was running round the garden like a loony one day, when he spied what he thought was his punctured football, so he charged up to it, and there was a crack, and a yelp as he tried to pick up a piece of granite that didn't look anything like a punctured football. Roll Eyes

Thankfully the only damage was a broken canine tooth, which, on learning that the dog was insured, the vet offered to put a crown on.

I said I'd think about it.

It was 6 years ago, I've thought about it. The tooth is fine.

I'm delighted to inform you all that the sh*t machine had it's staples removed yesterday, it's completed it's course of medication and it's massive appetite has return with a vengeance. Thanks again to all.

Great news.  Grin  I'll tell Cooper, Lola and Chevron (cats) but I doubt if they'll get it.
Troy the dog says say "woof" to Dave.
