 Kiss Kiss Kiss

Can't possibly say thanks enough to all on MB - especially The Liverpool Boys and Mike, the DFH crew and then the T.W.A.T.S. at the POO Bar for just giving me THE best Le Mans ever.

I knew I wanted to have fun this year but didn't expect that much. Wink

Only got back from France yesterday due to a week spent resting Grin at home.

Can't wait for next year or might blag a trip to the Classic.

Oh my God! - Cheers for that Chris Undecided

It's ok though, just to let everybody know that I have now slapped my son several times about the head (having to stand on a step ladder to do so) for looking so glum at his first Le Mans!

It looks like some sort of weird role reversal type thing - pissed off Dad with petulant child!

He is in charge of planning next years trip and I am not going to be allowed to bring any toys to play with Embarrassed But thats ok by me Wink

The reason he is so glum can be diagnosed in one fell swoop. It is the common occurence of Celtic Supporteritis, symptoms common are depression, anxiety, self-loathing, day dreaming about Henrik Larsson. The only cure is to cast off the papal shirt and wear proudly the Blue of the Glasgow Rangers.  Grin

Thanks Chris - don't worry the 2004 t-shirt is safe - I only swapped one of my 2006 Club Arnage t-shirts to get a drinking for Holland t-shirt - it just had to be done. It is a pity you missed this year, it was heaps of fun. You didn't miss out on the Thai green curry as for some reason I didn't make one! That being said - Both Brian and Ian said it was too hot for their liking last year but Jimmy said he loved it!

I just got back from the Goodwood Festival of Speed which was really fabulous - you can get so close to the cars and some of the drivers. There was meant to have been a Mk1 Escort RS2000 there but I didn't get to see it. I did see lots of lambos though and the Buggati Veyron. You would have loved the bikes - they made the best noise on the hill climb.

Speak to you soon

Lisa

There was a veyron at the LM Classic. My main complaint was that it made no more noise than the Audi R10. Angry
