LATEST NEWS FROM SPEEDCHILLS

Speed Chills Bar & Grill

Le Mans Series - Donington Park

25th-27th August 2006

We have some great news for you –

Everything on our menu of freshly prepared meals and snacks costs less than £5 and our policy of quality ingredients remains

~

We have draught lager and ale from British producers – our draught bitter was voted one of the best 50 beers in the world!

~

We will have our Le Mans quiz on Saturday evening with all proceeds going to Doris’s fund – the Club Arnage charity

~

The Creation Autosportif drivers will join us at 6pm on Saturday 26th for a meet and greet and signing session

~

There will be music and video in the bar throughout the weekend – the bar is a permanent building, thus providing shelter if the weather is not kind to us

~

Numbers will be strictly limited – we value your support in registering before the event and will ensure that you are in ‘pole position’ for the bar!

Please note – here’s the bad news bit – as numbers are low (based on advance ticket sales by Donington Park) we have reduced the facilities on offer to reduce our cost base, for example we will not have a live TV feed during the weekend. We are focused on providing a great facility at an accessible cost and we are sure that you will enjoy your visit!

Please note that we will close when the race starts on Sunday 27th.

Beat me to it Peter.

You didn't mention that they have also waived the £5 (per head) registration fee.

Exactly, that is information for us and not the sponging free loading brigade.

Edit, how about the 5 GBP's being put to the charity?  seems far to me, so anyone using the facilities bungs in a fiver to Neal and he can carry that forward from the the Saturday night quiz.

All sounds pretty good to me, looks like SpeedChills have got it all pretty good together Smiley
A mistery to me why they shut down on Sunday afternoon already though, while most of us are staying because of the bank holiday on Monday Undecided

DfH will bring their own draught machine as a consequence for the Sunday night and it looks like we have to get the good ol' bbq out again Cool

They just have enough people coming to justify it. Sad

Phil

I have spare sleeping capacity in the 'van - you are welcome to it.  Is it just you or will the 'home coming blond' be coming as well??   Wink Wink

Currently, Mrs D and our 2 black labs are scheduled to come, but if the weather looks a bit iffy, then I think she'll cry off.  Either way, I've still got a double bed spare and all the facilities.

Early days yet, but 10 day forecast looks like a dry weekend.
