Hi
Which car had the best sound?
I spend some time at the beginning of the start/finnish straight where there was a concrete wall behind me and the pitts in front of me, and my ears are still ringing  Grin.

You don't win Le Mans - you outlast it.

No, Corvette and Saleen. Great stuff.

I wasn't there but the one your going to love when you finally get to hear it is the Porsche RS Spyder.  Got a lovely high revving-high pitched jungle yell.
The Corvette's and Aston's are always a nice contrast when running close togther on the track.

Corvette for me. So distinctive, but the lambo ran it close this year with it's superb flameout as well.

For a truly visceral experience follow this link and hear what a C6-R sounds like from on-board.
Note that the car in front is the Luc Alphand C5-R which gives a pretty good account of itself an'all.

Scroll down to the "Club" tab on right and hit 'voir la video'

Turn speakers up to max and sit there grinning like a frickin' idiot.

For sure a toss-up between the vettes and the panoz - but that Lambo sounded truly demented!  Still also love the Porkers shouting "let me go! let me go!" on overun up the pit lane.

For me its the C6R, then Lambo, then Aston - all amazing without the noise the race would be nothing!

You're either at Le Mans, or waiting for Le Mans!

Got to be the rumble of the Vettes

Got to be the Lambo - high pitched but more pleasing than the Ferarris. I could have listened to that all day.... rather than the 18 hours or however long it lasted.

Was good to hear a Saleen again too.

enjoyed listening to the lambo, accelerating away from arnage, shame there was only the one.

Panoz is a close second, always reminds me of a mobile earthquake, something soothing about it at night time going around the circuit, doesn't matter where it is you know where and what its doing.

Audi's were they there, the turbo's were very noisy, we should complain.

Same here, voted Lambo for best new entry. Of course the heavy pounding from Corvette and Panoz are great. Spykers and Astons are nice too!
