Just thought I'd pop by and say "Hi" to everyone. Did anyone out there get lost in Rouen? Had a really entertaining hour driving round in circles swearing at the sat nav before finally getting on the right road. Guess that'll teach me to try to avoid the 'toll' roads huh?
Brilliant weekend, will definitely be there next year - is it really so long off?

No, there's a Classic in a couple of weeks...

Next year, take along a copy of Werner's splendid guide and leave the sat-nav at home!  You'll get here.

I was ok with Rouen, but I did get almost to Calais before I remembered my ferry was from Boulogne!

I also came out of the services on the M1 and headed off back in the direction I had just come from!

Hiya anyway - see ya next year!  Grin

Drove also over Rouen, according to satnav the only route to avoid toll roads. To bad TomTom didn't know yet that one of the roads in that direction turned into a tollroad, so had to navigate a bit myself. Which wasn't a problem, as I had DirkDirk whit a map sitting besides me. Grin

This film should be played at high volume, so don't come complaining about it! And who the hell is Steve?

Thats Rouen

The current Michelin map show a new bypass through the docks south of the River.  No sign of the damn thing, but we wanted the old road anyway

Hello all,

Another Newbie here too.

Well suppose I best tell you a bit about myself.

I'm Pete and I've been going to Le Mans since 2001 with several members of the Kent Kanterbrau Owners Club. I first attended Le Mans in 98 but that was the practice weekend so that doesn't really count.

I've enjoyed the last 6 races I've been to but i've noticed that the atmosphere was a bit different this year. There was an increase in thieving and the caravan club were being complete tw@'s not sharing the electricity this year. ( If they do that next year again midnight raids will be organised!!!! )

anything else you wanna know drop me a line.

Lorry get in touch mate!!!!!!

At last, someone else with too much time on their hands that I actually know.

I like the bear - I often thought you went busking in the evenings.
