If you buy more than 6 GA tickets. Then the discount you get will refund the membership. If the Classic is running then you can infact make money on the membership!!
You get access to the ACO only areas and the option to buy ACO grandstand tickets.
You also get the program free and lots of stuff sent out in July or August.

Put it this way, I paid 32 euros each, members price, for the whole Classic weekend, including grandstand and paddock passes. Also got 2 free entry tickets for the FFSA GT weekend last year and we were allowed in the pits while practice was going on. It's certainly worth it if you can make more than one meeting per year, otherwise I would say it depends on how many of you there are. Also, some of the club facilities are good - live timing screens for example, plus a good reduction on food and booze prices. The poo bar was charging 50 euros a bottle for champers while the ACO building opposite was selling the bubbly stuff for 36 (and it was cold.)

We ditched ours
We couldn't ever get the campsite we wanted
6 GA tickets was the max and we always bought them at the gate.
Weren't all that interested in grandstand tickets, preferring to slum it with the hoi polloi
The ACO area seemed as busy as everywhere else
The free programme etc never arrived for either of the members in our group.
If you can utilise your membership for another meeting then you're quids in, otherwise I'd say don't bother
