Don't forget to get your orders in for next year's tickets while you are down there.

I did mine at Test Weekend. The nice ACO lady gave me a form to fill in, then noticed a number on my 2006 letter and whipped the form away - "no need for you to do that, you will get automatic allocation next year".

I still wonder why...

Faxed mine off about a month ago, even though as Smokie says I believe regulars get automatic allocation. No acknowlegement yet though - as if they have anything else to do at this time of year......

Drop into the Rotunda and speak to the ACO ladies. They will give you the form.

Posted my request for next year. I was told a while back that bookings wouldn't be accepted until after the test weekend.
I've never had an automatic order despite being a "regular" ( Oh er Missus )

No probs booking today; the form even said "2007" for a change (usually has last year crossed out).  However, I agree, don't trust the "automatic booking" line - has never happened for me.  Book twice and if you get two lots of seats you can always cancel them when you're asked for confirmation at the end of the year.

I dont think there is any such thing as automatic allocation if you booked the previous year. I have for the last couple of years booked at the ACO office the weekend of the race for the following year. However this is now too late if you want specific in demand camping places. I was told that you have to book at the test day because that is when the tickets for the following year go on sale I tried ordering before this and my order was refused. As I could not make the test day I emailed my order to ticket@lemans.org. Although I have not had a response I will follow it up when I get to Le Mans for the race. It is amazing the lengths you now have to go to just to get the place you would like it was not very long ago that you did not have to book a camping ticket you could just turn up and there were places available at the most popular spots. I think with the strict heath and safety laws in France they had to limit the numbers of campers at each site. It was a bit of a free for all on the Friday you could not take your car off site as there would be a tent on it when you came back.

A safe and fast journey to Le Mans for all the club Arnage regulars and here's to a great race, great company, loads of sun and importantly copius amounts of cold beer and smokey barbecues.

Ah but there is,( Automatic allocations ) we get ours each year without booking anything, we have even applied for extra aco grandstand seats and the nice people at the aco have given us them.

Health and Safety in France!! You are having a laugh obviously. Having been a Health and Safety enforcement officer at one time the attention to H& S is laughable by UK standards.
