Well, here's my mode of transport, - if you see me, toot! Not in your trousers obviously, although that would be ok, quite impressive in fact. Did I read someone asking if they were breaking the speed limit and got caught by the police, would they be fined? Holy sh*t!. Oh, and if you see me in a verge, in a state of dishevellment, please don't laugh... H

after years of Lotii (elise & Esprit V8) we have come up with a plan to avoid speeding issues.
And the plan has a name - Harriet...
...she's a 1927 vintage sports car.
Well at least the liucence will be safe this year, even if the support car is going to get there first tghis year!

Yup - going all the way in Harriet.
Drove her up from Cornwall to London last weekend, and will be leaving at 5pm today from Wandsworth to Portsmouth and then tomorrow St malo - LM.
Have to go and get her from a local garage showroom in a few minutes - seemed like a good place to garage her!
We may be slow but she's a hoot (and very difficult) to drive. No synchromesh (of course) on any gears and with the pedals in a different order (accelerator in the middle) it means you have to keep your wits about you.....!

Simon, I'm impressed, will look out for you on our way down! Heading out tomorrow from Poole so may have chance to catch you up!! There is nothing like travelling in style, one year i only took the camper, right pissed off i was too. never again, must have something to cruze around in and show off to the natives. or is that another century? i get confused at my age, its the drugs you know they make me do it. my father in law has a sunbeam 1904 coupe' only four chassis were produced, two missing and beaulieu motor museum has the other. leather clutch, proper motoring!! have a fab trip, don't break the speed limit and see you in LM for a drink. Peter
