Hi

3 virgins travelling from Bristol area on the 2am Dover to Calais Ferry on Friday am.  Staying Maison Blanche.  Got tickets via MRI with the "free hosipitality".

Going down in our M3 and have taken note of the police tactics.

Any hints, tips or welcomes appreciated !

3 virgins from Bristol eh?

Well it's not four and twenty from Inverness that's for sure, but at this late stage surely we can't quibble? Have you seen what virgins have been going for on e-bay this week?

Drive like you have irritable bowel syndrome is all I can say, MB will be pretty tight come Friday afternoon.

Yes last year there were a number of Cars with MB passes in BSJ cos they could n't find space on MB.

From what I heard they didn't get a refund either.   Embarrassed

Any way welcome.

Go on Tuesday.....plenty of space then.....apart from the "Golden Triangle" and the"Platinum Triangle"......they account for at least 80% of all camping space on MB!!! Grin Grin Grin

Well 17 ton trucks, swimming pools and  Motorhomes do take up a fair amount of space? Cool

Thanks for the replies.

As soon as the M3 hits the ramp on Friday 5am we will be hot footing it down as carefully as possible.

Sounds like travelling next year we will be making the trip on Wednesday to ensure a good spot.

I assume we can identify you all with flags poles on your pitches.

Any camping/Club Arnage ettiquette I should be aware of (other bring several bottles !)

PS - thanks for the guide - really good, better than todays Autosport !
