Hi All. The family has tickets to Le Mans,we are excited. Husband, wife and two 24 yr olds. We are on Grand Prix Tours to take us there. The family is into cars. We live in Connecticut near Limerock Race Track. We are just interested in what you all know about everything about Le Mans. We are staying in Tours, that is taken care of, but how about daily at Lemans. The interest is can we walk out of the race track area and get someplace that is fun too. Bars, food, feeling for the town? Help please ..sincerely mo.

Hi MaryJ, Le Mans circuit is a little out of the town so getting there is a bit tricky.   The circuit has a little village of its own with food and trade stands so there is lots to see.  The museum is also next to the station and is worth a look.  There are also busses that take you out to Mulsanne, Arnage etc. and they are worth getting on as well.

Also take a wander round some of the campsites (Maison Blanche - home to many CA's) is close by - it's worth a look at some of the set ups - if you look for the Drinking for Holland guys (you can't really miss them!) you'll find quite a lot of CA's near by.

Hope you have a good time and a good trip  Grin

I thought you were going for a scorched earth policy this year Tom.  What with your search for LOX etc....

Mary - welcome to CA.  Stay away from Tom if he's been on the Tropicoma and he's got anything even remotley flamable in his reach.   Grin

Hi Mary.

Tours is quite a long way from the circuit!
If you can, try and stay at the track over night as the atmosphere is unique.
If you make contact with any members of Club Arnage your family will be welcomed heartily. Have a look at the informative parts of this site where you can learn all that you will need to know.
When are you all arriving/leaving?

Doug
