Interesting comments from Rossi as to why he is to remain on 2 wheels. Sort of sums up the F1 world.

Shame that it won't happen but I never took the rumors too seriously to begin with.  F1's loss though, would be a breath of fresh air to have someone with some charisma and a geniune enthusiasm and passion for what he does in the F1 paddock.  And by the way, Rossi knows how to play fair on the track as well, wins by sheer class, not by acting like a complete jerk-off.

Fax - its probably a daft question - but are you going to Le Mans this year?  If so, where are you camping?

Not this year Fran, was hoping to but just couldn't swing it.  Last went in '02 and looking forward to getting back soon.  Met some lovely people there over the years that I'd like to catch up and knock back a few cold ones with.

Aw thats a shame Fax I was looking forward to seeing you in the flesh so to speak - better luck next year - at least it gives me another 12 months at least to swat up a bit more on my motor racing knowledge !

There's always the Petit in the Fall!  (By the way Fax, after the Mid Ohio debacle, I'll deffo be there.  I suspect another road trip, all be it a little more comfortable than recent years.

The Petit should really be something, with the R10's, the now race winning Porkers and a hopefully sorted by then Dyson Lolas.  Like I said, Mid-Ohio wasn't the same without you & Matt around.  Back to Rossi for a second, the great Italian has his hands full this year with a unreliable Yamaha and some kids named Hayden and Melandri.  I suspect the Doctor will rise to the challenge Wink

Anyone else see it? Easily the best race I've seen all year, four wheels or two.

No doubt Andy, what a fricking race!  There's nothing not to love about the Moto GP guys, racers to the core!
I'm still pulling for Trick Daddy from just down river in Owensboro Kentucky but if he's going to be champ this year, he's really going to have to earn it.  Would also like to see Loris add a top class title to his 125 & 250 honors.  Jealous as hell at Robbo for going out to Laguna, Nicky will be desperate to take that one on his home turf.
