Will my TV work?
« on: May 27, 2006, 03:48:41 pm »
Mrs S reminded me today that we got a free 5" B&W tv earlier in the year. It's a bit naff, but at least Mark may get to watch the matches which otehrs aren't showing...

Will it work in France? (SECAM and all that...)

I don't belive a UK TV can watch "normal" TV i.e. tereestrial through an aerial, in France.

That said, I'd have thought either DfH or Team JPC will be showing all the games all week anyway so Mark shouldn't have a problem finding somewhere to watch the games!

We hired a camper van a couple of years ago and it had a telly in it - We got that tuned in to some daft football game on the Sunday night. All we had to do was sit through it auto tuning 'outside' of the UK band until it found something.

If your telly has auto tuning, chances are it can tune in to french tv.
