If You are bored with Top gear try Vroom Vroom on Sky one.

Superb road tests !

I did enjoy the "boat race" on Sundays program, little to do with cars but amusing , especially when Clarkson nearly cam a cropper when the Toybota capsized.

It's just entertainment, bloody good entertainment at that.

Even with the silliiness, it's probably a lot cheaper to make than the hour of Heartbeat that's on t'other side.

Yes but its a car programme, not a boat programme and yes it can be good, and yes I do like the presenters, bought the dvd's etc, but sometimes they get up themselves a bit.

Time to spruce up the show I say.  Its been too much of the same for too long.

Jem

Mr Clarkson et al, if by any chance you read this send me a note and I'll gladly share my views !

It's a bit of light relief after a weekend with the kids.

Unlike many so called comedy shows it makes me laugh out loud.

My Dad hated it, cos it's was not serious enough, but does it have to be serious, if it was the ratings would be crap, and it would be axed. Can a TV program provide enough information in a half hour or hour slot to keep the anoraks happy?

Clarkson is a bit of a tosser, but at least he is a funny tosser, unlike many presenters of car programs.

Come on guys wheres your sence of fun and enjoyment?  It's not all about the cars and I thought people on here would know that one better than most!  Tongue

It's like Le Mans, having a laugh, nice cars and the occasional 'normal' car thrown in.

Would you prefer a show full of micras, focus' and vectras?  Wink

lol Rick - chill!!

There was also the konig thingy and that orange thingy which were kinda pretty to look at...

And the comfy merc actually had me laughing out loud - in one of my Triumph Spitfires i sat on an upturned milk crate - i recognised that technique of hanging onto the steering wheel like mad .... he shoulda had one arm hooked outta the window tho... it adds some stability.

I am rather enjoying the World Cup Tales series thats on after TG - even tho not much of a footy fan really....   Smiley

Have to agree with Fran - tonights show had me laughing out loud too.  And, even more significantly, SWMBO was joining in too!  That is an achievement worthy of the license fee every time...

I'm with Rick on this one, trashing the Merc was just a waste of time and money.
