A heads up to all those in the Crawley/Sussex area.

Staplefield Funday and classic car show is on Monday 29th May. I'll be there with a few other folk for a nice day out. It's usually a good day, except for last year when it rained all day. The Commer will be in attendence for it's annual Coming Out parade.

Let me know if you fancy coming along, it's all for a good cause. Who knows, it might replace that pub crawl we never got round to. Sad

It all sounds very interesting, but where exactly are we all going to put our heads up?

Sadly I won't be able to make it Andy, and it would have been good opportunity to get the jag out, it's seen little use lately. Instead, I'll be somewhere in the highlands getting some whiskey training in, I'm ashamed to say I need it too. I've had a bottle of Aardbeg on the sideboard for nearly a month now, normally it wouldn't last a week, or even a night, on a good day.

Looks like the textbook 'Village Fair', is there a Midsommer Zarse in that area?

Sorry guys! Cancelled!

Monday's car show is cancelled as the field is flooded (or was too flooded to get the marquay lorries onto).  Hosepipe restrictions still apply.

I'm playing golf instead in east sussex and you'll all have to find something else to do. I think there's a fancy breeds poultry show nearby if that appeals?

Question - Why do puppies like to eat freshly laid turf ?
