This is the first year that I've ordered my tickets direct from the aco and as yet nothing has shown up on my credit card and no confirmation that I've actually got my tickests. Is this normal?

No, I wouldnt say it was normal, but when did you place your order? If it was someitme ago, the usual sequence is you get confirmation around December - request for payment around January/February (they take the money from your credit card soon after you give them details) - tickets in May.
I would recommend you telephone them asap - they speak english so dont worry about that!
If they have lost your order and you have no tickets I think Paddy_NL has some spare Bleu Nord tickets still - see the "Tickets for sale" thread.
Good luck!
Fran

Same for me really except I only ordered mine about 6 weeks ago and I have had a prompt response from them on email (see below) Dear Sir,
Don't worry! I can see on your order that we have not had time to register your payment yet but you mustn't be afraid, we have many many payments to register and many tickets to send. Anyway, we won't cancel your booking.I had this a week ago, and still nothing. Do they send out this late normally?

I really wouldn't worry.
Assuming you are collecting the tickets take copy of your emails and so on and check with your credit Card company if you have paid before you leave.
Personal I have only been getting ticket before I leave for the last few years as I have been going with other and wanted to be sure we are on the same camp site.
Also I've bought additional tickets with out problems.
At the end of the Day the ACO are not out to rip you off.
I've only once known them to say that they are sold out of Campsite tickets in 27 years of going to the event.

Dont be afraid?? It's ok for them to say that but personally I'd be more afraid than a hen on it's way to a date with this lot:

I wouldn't sit there if I were you, it's still a bit wet.

Thanks, First time I have bought tickets direct, fed up with how I was being treated by MRI, as I use the Poole to St Malo ferry route and they will no longer give me an option to use it. I have not even had a letter of how to pay ACO yet, but hey, they are the French! Stay cool

Ring them on 33 892 697 224 (from the UK) and ask for someone who speaks English, they will put you through usually, then you can ask them very politely what the f**k they think they are playing at.

I have not even had a letter of how to pay ACO yet, but hey, they are the French! Stay cool Ring Them Today and keep trying till you get an answer. They speak good english and at least you'll know and can do something about it. Its a small price to pay for peace of mind. There's quite a few spare tickets coming up on the buy sell pages so at least you stand a chance. At the very minimum you only need a camping ticket (if you intend to camp that is) or parking ticket. General admission tickets are available at the door and never run out.

I will ring them thanks. I want a parking ticket and 2 Granstand tickets and the later is the ones I am worried about. As you say, general admission tickets are not a problem.

Slightly OT but where do you pick up the tickets at thew circuit? I have bought 2 extra and they say to get them from the booking office or the welcome area but looking at the map I haven't got a clue where that is . Can anyone point me in the right direction please?
