Hi Shaun - and welcome to CA.

The first thing to say to you is that it may be your first trip, but it won't be your last!!

Surf around the site - especially the 'Help' board, and you will pick up a great deal of info.

Which camp site are you on?

As for the camp site I am not sure as its been booked by the party organiser but its a eurocamp about 60 click or so away as for the site I've found it very informative and have passed it on to all concerned

Hi Shaun

60k - that's a bit of a haul from the action - but I suppose you are going in a group that contains someone who has been before.

For future reference, or even for this year, a lot of the action takes place on the campsites around the circuit during the week leading up to the race itself - especially on the Friday.  The circuit campsites are, shall we say, a bit rudimentary, but all facilities are there, and for me (and many many others), half the fun is the continual party atmosphere on any of the sites.

Should you want to change, you could probably still get enough tickets for Beausejour site which is, to all intents and pruposes, as good as any other, albeit the furthest away from the village (but a lot closer than 60k!!).

You don't say when you are travelling.  And don't forget to join a lot of us at the 'poo bar, 9pm on Sat night.

yeh nick's been for the last 8 years or so and they allways stay at the site and drive to the circuit for the action but as for me well 1st time it's nice and easy to follow if I sorry when I go again!! perhaps I will look at closer and take a few extra days after the race. We are travelling on the tuesday before and making a week of it so 60k away gives us more options for travel/beach ect. thanks for the invite for a sherbert or two I will endevor so make it
