No, I'm not going. I prefer drinking beer instead of reading it.  Grin

Was (and still am) hoping to make it on Saturday afternoon, but the missus is out shopping for a dress for a posh do the following weekend now so I may be stuck at home with my daughter.

Hmm, I wonder if they let children in? She can show me the way home after a few beers then  Grin  And it would stop me detouring via the casino!!  Wink

Mark, why can your Missus not take said daughter shopping with her leaving you to go out drinking?  Seems a no-brainer to me.  Hopefully see you there.

Thanks for the best wishes, hopefully sorted, Positive result on a lump Biopsy on her shin, showed an area of Squamos Cell Carcinoma, a Skin Cancer, that was 2 weeks ago, saw a consultant on Monday, they though it would be 3-4 weeks, but a slot came up and she went in yesterday had the OP today and should be home tomorrow minus tumour and hopefully sorted.

All this knocking of the NHS as far as I am concerned is crap, they couldn’t have done more, a while ago if this slot had come up they wouldn’t have been able to react and it would have been wasted. They were great, professional and polite.

And its thanks to Cancer Research that they know how to deal with this disease that comes in many different forms, some helped along by our bad habits (Smoking) some by just enjoying the sun, some just unfortunately develop (Lorna's was the site of a previous injury which got ulcerated), they all need dealing with as soon as possible and with support of the knowledge developed with fund raising efforts such as Doris's and the generous support given.  Thank you.

Ian,

It's good to hear your good news.  These things are always worrying.  Unfortunately.  I know from experience.   Not to me personaly but but dear departed Mom.

I don't
