Paddy that link's wicked! I had a Radiomobile 8track in my first car, a brown Renault 12. I only had the tapes the car came with and there were only two of them; one by Tony Bennett, the other by Ray Conniff and his Orchestra (Hello Young Lovers). Not really what I was into at the time and even in 1981, 8tracks were vurtually unobtainable. I once managed to buy an Eric Clapton compilation tape at a garage in Walsall.  Sad

I still have 2 cases of the things in my loft. I'm a bit scared to open the boxes and discover the awful truth though.

Our old '76 Trans Am had an 8 track player.  The only tape we had was Bobbie Gentries Greatest Hits.  Roll Eyes

Rusty, playlists one and two sounds super- B

But sadly, not number three. Ican get those off my lad if I want 'em. (And listening to him growing up to many of 'em didn't endear me...) Sad

I can put an MP3 disc into the 'pooter and convert it to ordinary CD anyway can't I?

PM me with the address for my contribution to the Brethren's dutyfree allowance fund.
