Blimey, now I feel nearly as old as Jem!
I only know QOTSA in that list.
Might have to add some of the following onto the in-car Revox reel to reel:
Budgie - In for the kill
Black Sabbath - Vol 4
Van Halen - 1st album (how modern am I?)
Montrose - Space Station #5 - classic riffin'
Blue Oyster Cult
Living Colour

Feel like mr Amazin' might be on my side on this one!

People make a fuss about sixes, V8s and V12s, but once you get a four over 6500 rpm it does sound good.  Making it do it is the problem.

Doing the overnight run from Calais, so will have wakey- wakey cd's in the auto changer. Initial list is:

Guns n Roses       Appetite 4 Destruction
Led Zepplin           4
Clash                    Combat Rock
Thin Lizzy              Jailbreak
Jam                       Compact Snap
Alex Harvey           Impossible Dream
Doors                     LA Women
Dr Feelgood           Down by the Jetty
2 Many DJ's            Radio Soulwax

The tenth cd I won't mention list as I refuse to be the first person on this site to mention their name.

Just need to get a new car stereo with 11 on the volume control Grin

Honda don't seem to have any problem with this, even their basic shopping cars can be caned well past 6500. It's just crappy old wheeze-boxes made by the likes of Ford, Leyland, GM; Cosworth BDA, A and B series, X-Flow and Pinto, all rubbish that self-destructs when revved a bit too hard.

Not sure yet what will be on the 700 MB playing while driving down to Le Mans, but it will prolly be some Therapy? combined with Madness, disco house and dance.

The rest of the week I will pester the whole campsite with loud music off all sorts, feel free to drop by for any requests. Grin

Yes, Honda are setting a welcome trend, it may be to do with the Bikes.  Even a Honda 50 revs to 10,000, and they've been around nearly 50 years

Wot, no bike this year barry??

I'm getting old and missing luxuries like a fridge, chair, gazebo, table, tent that isn't the size of a rabbit hutch.

I'm just spraying the tank of the bike that fits in the back of the car. Smiley, hope the list above still fits in Wink

One day the Duke will return to Le Mans however.

I can just about remember 8 track, the father of a friend of mine used to have one in his van when I was quite young (about 30 years ago) Undecided
