I've buggered up our tickets! Left it too late again. I've just been on to the LM classic site and found that the Grandstands are all sold out. I need 4 tickets with grandstand seating and a camping pass for MB or I'll be in for it!
Can anyone help? Si

Oh dear.....we were talking about the Classic ages ago as well - you are going to be in trouble! There is an outside possibility that I might be able to liberate one grandstand tickeck (Leonard) nearer the time as if Keith K get's media accreditation he probably won't need the one that I've bought for him. Is camping sold out for the Classic as well? Might have to rethink our plan of going down late in the week. Good luck.

I think you can still get camping passes, no mention of them being sold out that I can see. Says contact the ACO. Don't know if it's MB though, I'd contact them direct, if the Grandstands have all gone, then the event might be attracting a bigger crowd than most of us thought it would.

Unless they've had a re-think it's only MB that is being used for the Classis so perhaps it is sold out?
Yes, perhaps a CA enclave is the right way to go, we probably won't be there until the tail end of the week - too may race meetings and not enough holiday time!

They'll be 20 of us East Anglian Cobras (10 cars) at the Classic, arriving Thursday afternoon, so we'll need a LARGE CA enclave.
I know of at least 2 other Cobra groups with upwards of 20 cars also going.

I think camping passes won't be a problem, just grandstands. Does the campsite open on thursday Steve? I'm sure I read on the ACO site it opens 8:30 Friday. We should be there for around 9- 9:30am ish, hope there will be room!

There's going to be a LOT of cars and a LOT of people at the gates on Thursday then. From the Cobra Replica Club forum there is - South West - 70 people West Midlands - 25 people Wales / West / South - 40 people East Anglia - 20 people All in noisy cars, all arriving Wednesday / Thursday

I've just emailed the ACO to ask them when the campsite opens - I'll post the response.

Thanks, Anita. We may have to take along some wire cutters though

Apparently, the Triumph Sports Six Club have exclusively booked Tertre Rouge campsite for the Classic - about 370 people!

Thanks, Anita. We may have to take along some wire cutters though Yep - we were heading for getting there Thursday and we thought that was late!! We could let Smokie go in ahead of us and take out the fence posts Having looked at the Classic Web site there is ONLY action listed for Friday, Saturday, Sunday - scruiteering etc. is all from Friday so maybe it is only Friday....

The ACO have responded to confirm that the campsite is open from noon on Wednesday.
I'll start a thread in the General Forum and perhaps we can work out who the advance party will be......

I like the way people have booked the trip before they even know when the racing is on
