Did anybody go to the Britcar 24 Hour at Silverstone last year?

If so, was it any good?

You don't win Le Mans - you outlast it.

It was very good, Rollcentre won the race.  Wink

I didn't go but from wha I hear it was a good race very very wet, lots of laps under yellow, Martin Short won and he will be back again this year, I understand that the organising club is TBA, that may decide if I go or not.

It was an awesome race, hard work for us media types, and no decent sunrise/sunset shots, but still awesome, and I can't wait for this years!

This year, I'm definitely going to Le Mans, Spa, and Silverstone. Might do 2CV's, I wanna go, enjoyed the atmosphere when I was there last year (wasn't there for race, qualifying day, shooting something else), but I may be at Brands Hatch for the Dunlop thing. Might go up to Snet afterwards, and catch some of it, if I can. Haven't really decided yet!

OK for me this year it looks like just the four 24's...

2CV's, Le Mans, Le Mans Classic and Spa 24.

I can't make the Moto24 that Keith is going to so I will have to stay home, drink beer, eat rubbish and watch cars and bikes on TV for the weekend!   Grin

Watching on the box might be the best bet if the weather stays as it is.

So a normal weekend for you then? Or just a 2 month warmup for LM?

Actually it's my only weekend off for 3 months!!

And...it will be different - the blooming chef will be in Le Mans - who's going to cook for me, bring me drinks and do the washing up Angry

Looks like the 2CV's could be getting less and less likely now (nightmare!), as I've now volunteered for a race at Silverstone, for some reason...
