Chaps I've woken up again - just been having a mooch around the lemans.org site and noticed the redevelopment work going on around the circuit and in "Le Village" which seems to be resembling Milton Keynes. I don't think i like it - it's modern and there wont bed any thick dust to stand around in while drinking. And.......I cant see the champagne bar anywhere. Should I be concerned?

Morning Paddy Thanks for the reply. By the way - if you're going to Donnington fancy meeting up for a few drinks? I live close to there and will be going myself.

You have no idea how close you are to the truth. Althought it will not be Paddy building it alone, even a master like him sometimes needs some help.....

That would be nice! I've already booked (and paid for ) the crossing, so Donington is a definite. We'll be there untill Monday morning early.

See you there then - no doubt there will be a magnificent miracle of modern structural engineering built trackside with you DFH boys perched on top. If not we'll speak a bit nearer the time and arrange where to meet. No doubt drinking will be involved so we'll search the bars first! Cheers

Sir Rick of South Lincs! Gadzooks sirrah, for tis a long time since last time! Good to hear from you - was in the Khyber last nite just keeping my eye in with the Nawabi Special Bhuna Duck - a veritable masterpiece of Indian cuisine all washed down with lashings of Lal Toofan (Authentic Indian lager brewed in Northampton).
Just name it buddy and we'll be there for a bit of a pre-LM curry night.
btw - like the new website design.

It can't be authentic if its brewed in Northampton. I thought everybody knew that authentic Indian Lager came from Faversham

Morning Jem Just woken up from my winter hibernation - just cant think of anything worthy or humorous to say so I don't bother! Good to see you're still around mate, I noticed your who, what, where message the other day. What camp site are you on this year - we're still on MB. If we don't bump into you beforehand presume 9pm champagne ber (if it still exists!)

We are on Houx M'Lord, same spot hopefully as last year, couple of rows along from Pistonheads.
We've had a team talk today re our aspirations which are( and I say that in the knowledge that it may be wishful thinking) as follows:
1. To actually be compus mentus (awake) after dark on Thursday, dont laugh we've failed for the last two years.
2. To get to the square on Friday without gipping
3. This is where you come in, we hope to make it to the Breth Friday night bash, so as they are on MB I hope to see you then. We have two rookies itching to partake of the chili challenge. Jem
