i remember this car, Joest Porsche at Le Mans 1986, here's a pic when they prepared this car (still had the race tents in those days)
Spot on. I enjoyed the old paddock with the tents etc. thats the Chevron B36 ROC Chrysler-Simca entered by José Thibault. It crashed early in the 87 race. I knew I'd seen it before: Chevron B36 racer: Earlier prototype:

Interesting, Velvia 50 is being/is discontinued? Will you switch over 100? Or will grasp the thorn and go digital?
I thought you might be using something like this as the shots had so much punch, did you use a ND filter at all, a the lighting is obviously so bright. Just interested in your technique, Peter

Many films are now being sold off in the UK as "no longer available". I'm afraid the film camera is now a minority interest, and film and developing could get expensive.
Florida must be 3 or 4 stops sunnier than the UK, so that 50 asa film is about as usefull as 400 asa in the UK. Le Mans is about 2 stops brighter, but when they get the English weather of Thursdays practice last year, its 2 stops duller. I've always had to carry 100 & 400 asa film to allow for the weather, whereas the digicameras just need a nob turning.
Do I give the MZ6 another year?

Well done. Whilst well forgotten, its more interesting than the average Audi. Now lets get back to Sebring, and the portapotti Lolas Mine has electric flush!
