Driving around the public road part of the track is possible on Friday however going for a blatt is liable to end with you in the local jail Roll Eyes

Took the bike round the public road sections EARLY on the Friday a couple of years ago, about 9ish, no police around at that time, they seemed to appear about 10am. Probably after a good brekfast Wink
Was able to have a couple of blasts down the Mulsanne and the strech down to Indianapolis. Apart from the flics, the problem is the amount of traffic later, especially on the Mulsanne, once the lads start the burn outs outside the Chiense restaurant it's like the M25 in rush hour.

There is no access to the track except for the public road sectons.

Unless you have  very deep pockets, be very careful, once the police are up and about.

Yes if you have a time machine.   The second time I went I got a bit "lost" I drove up the slip road/track by the bridge on the exit to the Porsche Curves.  Stopped and asked this guy working on the armco He guestured I should go the way the cars go so I did ;-)    Did a complete lap.   Of course I couldn't really give it full  gas just incase.  Plus a Ford Cortina Estate is not what you'd call a sports car is it?

I never managed it since though.   Sad

The entrance to the Porsche curves is blocked off by a barrier.  This used to be that galvanised crowd fencing, but I've a feeling may be a little stronger now.  Anyway, by Friday it may have been moved enough to have a gap in it.  Worth a try, and recce beforehand.

Due to the open pitlane on Friday, you can enter via Maison Blanche etc and the gates to the circuit should be open, just look out for drunken pedestrians
