Okay Lee & Randy, you got me convinced with those pictures. Obviously I am too late for this Sebring Race, but are there any recent pictures ('05) available to show what it is like today with fencing and camping and stuff? Cool

Btw Randy, finished the printwork on McQueen Sr. today - Pieter will bring that one definitely. Pic of print will follow tomorrow...

Paddy, it looks just like this only with newer cars.

RE: "pics of '05 cars" I'm getting there, the race isn't for 12-13 more days. plenty of time to run through the slide sheets.
Looking forward to hoisting the banner!  Was Steve McQueen ever a pirate?

-Lee
Randy & I both have camping stuff loaded into our vans. (well, not all of it)

How about some old Turn10 to get us in the mood? Grin Grin
My God, Randy! Do you need old pictures to get in the mood?

I just need an entry list and a calender to get all exited. Only 110 days 'till LM... Tongue
Hmm, I take my words back Randy. Got the '02 - '05 LM reviews on DVD yesterday, and have to admit the visuals look very inviting indeed.

Here's another visual, printed yesterday, for Sebring Turn 10 Smiley

Paddy, have a look at all the wonderful photos I took of Sebring 2005 in my Webshots online gallery here - (including the Turn 10 wedding)

All taken from legitimate spectator areas.  Hopefully I'll get more great photos this year.

Nice shot Chris. This pretty well sums up how good the viewing is and how close you are to the action.

Jealous as hell now that I'm not going to be there this year  Cry

You're either at Le Mans, or waiting for Le Mans!

Steve, Lee here.

Any chance you can burn me a DVD of your wedding footage and bring it over with you? With you having been in the gallery, and catching the bouquet and all...

thanks in advance, see ya soon.

Sorry, didn't mean it to be a quiz, but who is the arrow pointing at.  I can't remember.

You mean the bloke in the crowd?? Sorry I can't quite make his face out.

If you mean the 917, it looks like a Martini "Hippy" car to me.

people, people... can't we all just get along?

I won't have this thread turn into a my race is better than your race debate.
Simple fact is that they are both the best race in the world. Having been to both I can say that without hesitation.

Sebring is best, and Le Mans is also best. There its settled.   Smiley

Hmm, in the name of stirring up sh*t (something I do well) I will take sides.
Having been to both, Sebring is by far the better event, especially after the way the ACO has f**ked up the circut at Le Mans.
Kindest Regards,
