I have a stag do in the planning stages, Here's an idea. Why not have a themed stag do? The Theme? Home and Away. The "Home leg" Somewhere close to hand. Wokingham for example, for a monumental piss up. The "Away leg" Sebring. That way you get to go to Sebring, the Old Man gets to go to Sebring, because what sort of Father doesn't go to his son's stag do? It will send out a clear message to the intended, this is how it starts and this is the way it stays. The Turn 10 guys will ensure that you have a great time and a stag do to remember, everybodies happy. Just do it Brad, how cool would that be Having experienced the volume of alcohol consumed at Sebring first hand I'm not sure Brad would remember much. Mind you if Dis Monkey gets involved memory loss may not be a bad thing. Dx

This film should be played at high volume, so don't come complaining about it! And who the hell is Steve?

It's been a while since 12 Sqn produced this while on det in Germany, and it's been removed from Youtube these days, but here's the original - and best - light blue see-off from dispersal, with best wishes for the sortie tomorrow morning onwards.... http://www.trendhure.com/airforcedancer-video/All the best, MG Mark

Has using a mobile phone in a hospital been made legal / more acceptable yet? (Or using a laptop with 'mobile broadband)
If it has, it might be a way for you to while away the interminable hours.
Infection control measures permitting, obviously

I know it is in Dutch hospitals Nick, my better half had a UMTs card on her computer when she was hospitalised. Also the cellphone wasn't a problem.

I think I heard on the radio that mobiles are one of the major carriers for viruses (MRSA etc), so, given that staff regularly carry and use them, they were going to improve education. Can't remember any more though...

just back from hopital and having the long line inserted, make of that as you will Mobiles are no probs, well there weren't in july 08 and three years ago when i had my last stem cell transplant. as of yet southampton doesn't have any patient broadband or basic computer hook up. so no surfing to while away the hours, instead lots of books and films to catchup on. Robbo SPS has lent his copy of Band of Brothers to me so thats five hours of ten weeks sorted

You can get a mobile broadband dongle for a laptop. Some places give you a 'free' laptop if you sign up to a contract for mobile b / b.
Might aid in staving off the cabin fever a bit.

In a single word, Yes......
In a few more words, provided that you have a laptop and a dongle, as long as you have a mobile signal for the network you have internet access. Tempting?
