Strange to say, although I used to watch a bit in my cjildhood, I have absolutely no recollection of Jackie Mr TV Pallo. Don't even recall him being mentioned on any of the television retrospectives that plague our screens from time to time. Sad news though.

Small claim to fame here, when I was young I used to get around by hitching lifts. Jackie "TV" Pallo once took me and a mate from Woodford Green to um...where the ABC cinema was, can't remember the place name...

Also my Dad used to take me to Ilford baths occassionally to watch the wrestling. Who remembers Mick McManus? Mean sob. It was all theatre though...

Them wer't days.  I used to like Les Kelett (?sp).   I seem to recall that Jimmy Saville use to be a wrestrel at one time.   I only ever got close to one Wrestler (not a famous one) he was a bit p155ed and was looking to give some of the staff in the Bowling Centre I worked in a bit of grief.   He went very quite after the bouncer dotted him.

Ah yes.  The dulset tones of Kent Walton on a Saturday afternoon.  many hours of useless entertainment for the masses.  The Royal brothers versus Mick McManus and his evil partner (cant remember his name) in this weeks tag team bout!!!

What a bloody laugh.  to think we were even taken in by some of it!  Well I was quite young then.  Honest guv.

Steve Logan was his tag partner. Christ he was an ugly git, would't be allowed on before the 9: o clock watershed now in case he frightened the kiddies
