As my earlier post in HELP, this morning my cheerful postman delivered an acknowledgement and invoice for my ticket requirements for the Classic.  Grin

I must admit I haven't even thought about booking for The Classic yet. I'm sure we didn't bother until we were back fromt he 24 hour race last time.

Are the tribune and paddock passes included in the price still if you're an ACO member?

Yes.
Otherwise, for non members Tribune Lagache included, Paddock 20 euro.

I've booked 10 cars and 20 people so I've had to think ahead.!

I;m not sure which, if any, of our gang are intending to make it this time. It's a bit hard core. Steve, if you get any drop-outs nearer the time perhaps you could bear me in mind.

Andy, most of the cars I've booked are cobras but there's a couple of > 2 seater cars.  I'll bear it in mind.

Andy, not sure if many, or any of our lot will be going so would happily make up a car with you!

I am planning on going again as I have been to the first two and should keep up the run. Not sure yet how I am getting down there. I might drive again alternatively I might shoot down in a car again.

Our invoice arrived today, I would confirm that grandstands are FREE at the moment. Lagache must be  either full or being used as overflow from ACO, we were allocated Tribune Leonard.

Mine arrived as well  Grin

When you say grandstands are free - do you really mean free?

I didn't book any grandstand places but would quite like to if there are no cost?

Free as in gratis, if you booked early, before the end of May I think, but you have to ask for them.
I'd get on the phone quick Piglet.

Yes that's right Barry.  As per the booking form, if booked before 31st May, grandstands are free (up to 4 places in the ACO stand) and paddock passes are 20 euro (4 free passes for ACO members).

Bookings after 31st May (serie A), grandstands 20 euro, paddock pass not available.

I love the ACO  Grin Grin

I've just looked at my Classic invoice and the wonderful people have allocated us Tribune places in no 20 - Leonard which appears to be virtually alongside the start/finish line.

I didn't ask for them as I hadn't realised that they were free!!  What a result!  According to the bumf they sell them at 93 euros for the 24 hour.

They may steadfastly refuse to allocate me Maison Blanche tickets for the 24 hours but for now I love them all  Grin

Doesn't it make a refreshing change to get what you asked for from the ACO!
