I emailed and faxed our Classic ticket requirements before Christmas but haven't heard a jot from the ACO since.

Has anyone had any kind of written / emailed acknowledgment of their ticket request and / or a request for payment? ...... or am I getting paranoid?

Same here. I emailed my request a month ago and not so much as a return email.  Huh

I emailed my request at the end of November and when I didn't hear anything from the ACO I chased them up about it.  I was told they should start allocation in Jan or Feb.  So that would be anytime now then...

I booked around Christmas and haven't heard anything either.

Given that the Classic is becoming more popular I wonder if they might have to open another campsite?

MB was not full at the last Classic. As there is a clash with Goodwood, and the proximity to the main event, will the same number of Brits be going?

We applied as soon as prices were announced, October/November, and have not heard anything yet.

I was priviledged enough to get two letters from the ACO yesterday. One, obviously, was the junk about the Club24. The other one baffled me somewhat. It said that if I did not pay for my MB and La Gache tribune ticket allocation for the 24 Hrs my order would be cancelled. This was a mystery seeing as they had deducted the funds from my credit card last month!! A swift phonecall this morning soon straightened out the problem but I have to say it's all a bit worrying.

Same here Andy.  Two wonderfully letters from the ACO.  Kept back for opening with a coffee and cream bun.  Prompting me to join the club.

I can understand why the ACO want you to pay twice, I've just seen Goodwoods prices.  A mate has just taken out a second mortgage to buy 4 tickets.

FOS  £88 entrance, £153 with grandstand
Revival  £88 entrance, £176 with grandstand.

I think I'm paying under £100 for the entrance and Jaguar grandstand.  Once the ACO find out, that should double.

I was going to go to Goodwood this year too

It'll be cheaper (including lots of fuel) to go to the Classic!
