Steve I cant wait to see you guys. This promises to be a great year. Shocked Shocked Shocked

Bloody hope so.

This might sound like a very, very silly question, but, do I have to buy bog roll. Ok I know it is silly but it had to be asked.

Martini...any time, any place, aywhere as long I have a bog roll

IIRC, they did run out in the middle of the night.

It may be one of lifes little luxury's, but I never go to a motor race without one!!

Thanks JP, after this type of conversation I do feel I can call you by your first name. I thought that was the answer.

Mr Martini...

LOL. You'll have a great time Martin, especially if you take your own loo roll!!!!  Wink. The hospitality of the Turn 10 guys is something to behold, (try the deep fied Turkey), and the viewing of the track will raise questions in your mind about why we bother with Le Mans. Oh, and the paddock is open to all!! I'm just pig sick that I can't be joining you all this year!!

Randy,

This is a tough question, whether to camp out at Turn 10 and have a riot or camp with Pidge which is quieter and alot nearer to the toilets, showers and paddock areas. Turn 10 is only a short car ride away afterall ! Roll Eyes

Randy,

Will be again camping at Pidges site as I did with Smokie and the gang last year. Unfortunately I did not get a lot of time to visit you guys at Turn 10 since I was together with my brother who I had not seen in over two years...had a bit of catching up to due with him. But this year will be another story, saw the brother just a year ago and he is also not getting into Sebring till Friday, so you will probably get tired of seeing me at your place this year. Gettin pumped...see you soon.

Hey gab, sorry I won't be able to make it this year and won't make Le Mans either.  It sounds like you have your brother hooked on endurance racing now and that is a good thing.  Since you and pidge will be the only yanks in the CA campsite (I know the Harper's don't camp) keep 'um honest.  OK.

If a bog roll is the same as a roll of toilet paper, then the answer is yes.It never hurts if you heading to the crapper to take some spares.Just in case.
There is an attendant on duty most of the time,to keep the facility clean and stocked.

Not like Le Mans where you walk in and the attendant hands you a single square of toilet paper.  What the f**ck is up with that?  Is toilet paper a rare commodity if France?
Looking forward to Sebring enormously, will be a blast as always.
For all the first timers though, you should be warned, it will become habit forming...Just ask Smokie Grin

That's so that you can do a ballerina.

You fold the single sheet in half then again to quarters.
Then tear the middle corner off so that, when opened you have a sheet of paper with a hole in it.
Place the paper over your index finger, a la ballerina, and wipe your arse.

Then use the small piece of paper your tore off to clean under your finger nail.  Grin

I suppose its one of the big secrets of Le Mans, but in each backpack, under all the bottles of beer is a bog roll, or three if you're on the Merguez

Right then, after the tirade of messages posted ref: T Shirts and stickers how about a little "light relief" settle down  JPC.

Right then, which of you has the best travel / bits n' pieces list for Sebring?

And perhaps even a WalMart shopping list, on a per person basis please.

Answers on an A3 postage stamp please.

Barry Wagner Chief Engineer of Autosport Designs Racing (ASDR) announced today that they will be contesting all ten rounds of the 2006 SCCA Speed World Challenge Series with two Aston Martin Racing DBRS9's.

“We are delighted to be involved with Aston Martin’s return to GT racing in the United States with two SCCA World Challenge specification DBRS9’s. We look forward to working closely with Aston Martin Racing during the year to ensure the DBRS9’s success”.

Tom Papadopoulos (USA) and Johnny Mowlem (GB) will drive the Autosport Designs Racing DBRS9’s for the full 2006 World Challenge season. Tom and Johnny bring extensive experience from both sprint and endurance racing to the team.

The DBRS9 is a racing derivative of the critically acclaimed, road going DB9. This new V12 engined race car is expected to be a formidable challenger for the 2006 season.

I hope to make it a bi-annual event alternating with the Classic Le Mans.

Hope all you guys have fun there though and look forward to the stories afterwards.
