A small speech and a huge THANK YOU!!!   Grin Grin Grin

I have been truly astonished by the generosity you have all shown in helping me raise money for Cancer Research.  From the individual donations, to the auctions on E-Bay, to the contributions that will come from the car stickers and other events planned for LM.  I cannot say ‘Thank You’ enough.

Saturday night was a lot of fun.  I managed to keep the nerves at bay by having so much to do during the day that I had no time to think about what was going to happen later that evening.  They only started to kick in when I was sitting at home waiting for my lift to the pub.

It was great to see those of you who could make it.  For those of you who couldn’t there is a picture storyboard of events unfolding at

http://public.fotki.com/steveandceline/doris

Am also hoping to get the video edited and on the web soon.

Lorry - The locks are currently at home on the dining table waiting for me to put them on E-Bay.

JPC – No Dutch Courage needed.  Just a bit of Russian Vodka.    Wink

Thanks Tom.    Cheesy

Actually I need to update the web page again as I got a cheque for 620 notes from work on Friday.  They very generously matched staff donations.   Grin Grin

75 quid?   Shocked  That's great!   Grin Grin

You can either give it online as the web page is open for donations until the end of this month, or you can send me a cheque (make it payable to cancer research uk).  I'm guessing you still have my address.

That leaves just 200 quid before we hit 5k.  One last push at LM should do it.   Cheesy

Am I getting this wrong? This is what I said January 26 in a PM to both Ferrari Spider and Robbo SPS>>
Quote
I have told Robbo that all profit could go to charity, maybe the two of you can agree on a good one. Don't know if it would be too late for Doris' charity Undecided

Ah what the hell, I'll throw my £75.00 in expenses for those stickers in as well! Cheesy
As promised... Smiley

So now only this to sort out>>
