Wow. Ticket allocation to whale sharks to microwave ovens to tropicoma in 12 posts. Not bad.

LOL it's quite impressive isn't it! Grin

Smokie - I don't know what BSJ is like I've always managed to trade my way out of it!!!  Cheesy  ....I'll probably be attempting the same this year knowing my luck.

Microwave???   That's not camping......

Microwave???

I don't think Tom has ever even thought of cooking with his microwave, it gets in the way of blowing things up!

I got confirmation of my usual allocation today. The ACO have unfortunately caught up with the fact that I ceased to be a member three years ago, so this time I'm paying serie A prices, not the cheaper serie B which they have mistakenly charged for the last few years. Oh well!

Tickets sorted through my own personal ticket agent, Mr JPC esq.  Ferry needs booking and thinking about using the speedferries link this year for the first time.  Any thoughts?

Also have booked my Classic track laps, anyone else going?

FS, did Speedferries this year, OK except that out going the thing had one bad engine took 1 and 1/4 hours to get across, but at least they took us even though we all knew it was having difficulties getting up to speed. BUT, coming back the following Tuesday the thing flew home, 55 minutes!
If you can get on it is worth it specially if you can get the low economy prices. Now they even have a shop I understand!

Next year I am hoping to be walking and driving again by June so as to take up my tickets (gone for Continental Car Tours this time around, 'cos I can cancel with them if I have to)

Steve, I might have someone that needs a HA if any about I'll keep in touch.

Have any of you had the new rules?

Yeah I noticed that but no new rules with mine either. ISTR that there was something last year which I drew CAers attention to at the time, but it turned out to be not of any significance.

I think it was that motorhomes were not allowed into the car parks, apart from the new "bivouac" areas where there was a camping supplement.

I've not heard anything - should I be worried by this?  We've always heard late in the past and not got what we requested - is there any logic to how and when people get notified?

Piglet, I'm camped out by the letter box on the front door.  I recall having the "notification" from the ACO about this time last year.
