Just back from sunny Egypt (thought the sun goes down and it is dark shortly after waking up time at this time of year!) Pleasantly surprised by confirmation of my 2006 ticket allocation from the ACO. All in order, I just have to find €1000 or so... I wonder if they take Egyptian £s? The grasping waiters & bus drivers didn't quite manage to clean me out...

Hi Smokie,
what brought you to Egypt? I've been there twice this year for scuba-diving. Do you also dive or was it a cultural sight-seeing trip?
Cheers

Just a holiday - Sharm el Sheik. 7 days by the pool - plus some snorkelling and blasting about the desert in a dune buggy!

I didn't realise what great fun diving (well, snorkelling!) would be Steve...
Planning the same trip (but longer) for next Nov/Dec already, will probably include diving (a lesson was included at the hotel!)

Well it may not be so much fun next year my Microwave broke last year so there won't be a CD roast unless anyone has a microwave they can donate. Next year I'm hoping to do a more adventures Lawn job. See if I can compete with this :-) http://www.manchesteronline.co.uk/men/news/s/189/189913_city_star_earns_his_stripes.htmlt.

Tom,
What could be more adventurous than mowing the lawn the morning after JPC's cocktail party when your blood had been replaced with Tropicoma and parts of you were dead?

Well I'm still on the lookout for a supply of LOX. See http://www.doeblitz.net/ghg/ for the sort of thing we could do. It blows the socks of fire eating. t.
