Dear All,

Having read about potential nasties in PHP and MySql, I decided to upgrade both.
After all, PHP have reached version 5, so upgrading to production-4.4 should hardly create any problems - neither should upgrading MySql to version5 ...

well, thats what I thought, - but then the forum software jumped out of the bush, and bit me right on my nose!

SO, - I spent some time in front of l'ordinateur and found the updates to the forum-software that was needed, and we're back online again.

You don't win Le Mans - you outlast it.

That is if you got auto-logon switched on. I could even reach my PMs, but could not create.

Indeed very nice the forum is back, thanks Lennart

Apparently the new fixes also correct the thread printing problems which have been reported previously.

I haven't tested it yet though. (The main post to print was the Who Where What thread)

Printing a long (multi page) thread (use the Print button in the forum list, not the one in your browser) now works fine.

However it only prints the text, not pictures.

So if you were hoping to save your jazz mag money next year by printing off the Girls Girls Girls thread, tough!  Wink
