One of my mates has organised a trackday at Donnington for 19th November.Its open to anybody at a cost of £185.00.
This is what the flyer says;
RPM Trackdays presents;
King of the Ring and 2005 SCSA Champion Michael Vergers on hand to give free instruction.
Pat"the flying"Flynn and former Formula Renault/Spider Racer Mike Nippers are also providing free tuition all day.
Britsports front runner Steve Griffiths will also be at the circuit offering free fast passenger laps in the awesome
V6 Chrysler powered Jade.
RPM Trackdays differ from others in that we offer assessment drives for interested drivers,the most promising having the opportunity to use our own slick shod race saloons free of charge for the afternoon session(fuel included)
Be quick to book a place at £185
Extra drivers £10

98 db noise limit

Is that 98dB or 98dB(A) as it makes a heck of a difference? Also at what distance is it measured?

If measured by the MSA method it's 1m from the exhaust at 75% of engine maximum rpm (at an angle of45 dgrees)

I'll take the anorak off now!

Seriously if anyone needs any vehicles noise tested pror to circuit use, then I may be able to help.

BG, that's the same method used at SVA tests (hence why most kit car owners know how loud their car is) and at racing circuit track days.
