I'm guessing that all it would be good for would be for providing the 'smoke' effect across the DfH stage when the band is playing.
The drum holds solid lumps of dry ice (Carbon Dioxide) and the heater sublimes the solid CO2 to a gas / smoke.
The auction is within the "Consumer Electronics > DJ Equipment > Smoke Machines & Atmospherics" section.

Evening all. Have investigated this myself before- outdoors is a nightmare re volume of output and assumption of zero wind - you would need so much that cars would probably be arriving in the campsite from the Porsche Curves...having said that they look the business! I expect the safety car will be having a busy time in 2006!

I'm suddenly very glad that HA is inboard of the track and quite a "Slide" from the Porsche Curves and MB...
Also I can imagine the pikies making inroads under cover of a false smoke sccreen, better get UGS and Claymores around too.
