THE ALL-NEW INTERACTIVE 2005 INTERNATIONAL MOTORCYCLE AND SCOOTER SHOW IN ASSOCIATION WITH THE SUN - A BIKER’S DREAM COME TRUE!
03/08/2005

The most groundbreaking International Motorcycle and Scooter Show ever staged at the Birmingham NEC will take place this year on its new dates of 28th October to 6th November. This year’s show, which takes place in association with the UK’s biggest tabloid newspaper and new bike show title sponsor The Sun, will play host to the biggest ever launch of new bikes in the UK. More exhibitors than ever before are expected to showcase their latest models to the UK market. The show itself has also been completely revamped to include many new interactive features where veteran bikers, absolute beginners and even children as young as five can take to the latest 2-wheelers for the first time for FREE!

Whether you prefer the unpredictability of the off road biking experience, the pure pleasure of the open road on your dream bike, or the heart-pumping rush of motorcycle racing, this year's show will give you the chance to have a go. But it's not just about hard-core bikers - scooter commuters or those just interested to have a look will have plenty to keep them busy. Both young and old will also find something to have a go on at the show this year, but visitors will need to show a valid UK driving licence before trying some of the free features, and must pass an alcohol breathalyser test.

Managing Director of MCI Exhibitions, Finlay McAllan, commented: "Last year's show was a fantastic success with over 166,000 visitors but 2005 promises to surpass it in every way. The show has always been a given in many bikers' diaries but I really would advise anyone with an interest to come down this year. Young and old, experienced and novices will have the chance to try out many more features whilst the biggest collection of the very best bikes in the world will be unveiled for the first time in the UK. Whatever you do don't forget to bring your biking licence if you want to ride the big bikes or you will miss out! "

Tickets for the International Motorcycle and Scooter Show in association with The Sun are now on sale and the public can take advantage of the fantastic advance prices for both adult (£13) and family tickets (£30). All other tickets are also available in advance either by booking online at www.motorcycleshow.co.uk or over the phone on 0870 732 2005. Standard ticket prices are £15 for adults, £13 for students, £5 for senior citizens and children between eleven and sixteen, and £35 for a family ticket. Children under the age of eleven are admitted for free
