Thanks, I was hoping for that response.
Wagon R+. And its 70 bhp, not 170bhp. She was short changed.
It was made in Hungary - do they make bikes there yet?

Right number of cylinders and in the right configuration. Just a shame you can't use them to warm your hands in cold weather like certain Italian V-twins! |

My bike has heated grips and is lush. I just need to pass my test now and stop my man riding my bike.
I took a naughty ride around my close and its lovely. Its a grumbly beast.

Its the GB registration number Phil.... the "2" = 2002 and the "5" = ummm October believe it or not = so it means its an October 2002 bike!!
(additional info, if it was "02" it would be February 2002, the "0" = February!!!). We only get February and August registrations now, ie. 02, 52, 03, 53, etc.
Its the new system that we went to after we ran out of registration letters to show the age of the vehicle!!!

I'm jealous of course. I gave up the bike when my wife was pregnant. She asked the doctor if it was still safe for her to go on the back, and was promptly told "it's never safe".
I sold it to a woman who turned up on the back of her husbands Guzzi V50, so at least it went to a good home. Only a 400 Honda, but its taken me ten years to get the thing on the left to go faster.

MArch and September though. The 5 denoted half a year.. Ironically her bike is registerd in Feb 2003 just before an o3 plate so its still MOT exempt. It needs a new chain and sprockets, and rear brake pads, but she got the bike very cheap as the fella selling is getting divorced and couldnt sell it locally to him, we were the first people since April to look at it ? My bike mechanic has seen it and thinks we got a bargin. LOrry - The think on the left to go quicker  - The speedo ? Or your wrist action ? |

Lovely little bike the V50- great round the twisty bits. My other half has one as well as a honda 400/4. The V1000 will be making a return trip next year now the Granada is no more! |

Coincidence - my Granada is no more (didn't think of towing the caravan with a V1000 though), and we have a Virage 1200 in the team (Similar? - makes children jump and women scream when you fire it up). Trashed the caravan too, but its ghost will returm to Le Mans as a bike trailer, with Virage, concours BMW R45 and Suzi Bandit 600. |

I'd love to take my bike again, but after 2 close shaves in one year, 2002 i vowed to never again.
For me just too many idiots going the same way, in the same place for comfort.
And i am one of those idiots from time to time !
Shame, just been looking at newer bike from the CBR600FX
Quite fancied a Blackbird ( no puns required H or Andy ) or even a very late model ZX9R.
