There was one like that in Makro for £50 + VAT last month!!!

Watch the maximum / centre height as that tends to vary. I'm looking for something that I can stand upright in! The height they show is the outer height I believe and doesn't allow for inner tents etc.

I spotted some tents in my local Aldi.  Six berth bendy pole for £50.  500x400 and 2.2M high, which seems big, but the box wasn't.

Another advantage of the caravan, and when you go in there's a fridge full of cold beer.

That tent is very good, especially at 99p, but must be very heavy if the postage is £56

I see it says "Designed for :

the itinerant basecamp of 2 hikers
having to frequently erect their tent."

One erection a week is about enough for me these days...  Undecided Grin

I've just bought one of these from Halfords - special offer at £75 and 1.8 m high in the middle.  It has a '4 berth' sleeping pod at the back, a covered 'reception area' and an erectable canopy.

Another ruse to avoid the ebay charges (based on final sale price!)

I wonder whether the seller would be happy if the 99p buyers offered to collect or arrange their own carriage - I'm sure there's a ebay rule that the sellers carriage is not mandatory.

You're either at Le Mans, or waiting for Le Mans!

Oh how very civilized. You'll have to invite us round to the  garden party and serve us canapes on the lawn Grin

I bought on of these for a family holiday although at a cheaper price. lots of height and the one day it rained did the cooking inside no problems.

JP, absolutely spot on, loads of room, could of rented some of it out.  Rotti got worried when I invited him over for sundowners one evening and sit in the porch, I s'pose he thought he was going to be propositioned Cheesy

Next year thinking about having some bedside cabinets for the side lights and installing a 5:1 audio visual set up for entertainment.

Just been looking at the price, thats way too expensive, I only paid £140 plus extra few quid for a double sofa bed which was Okay except i kept falling into the crack between the sections.  I think next time i'll try one of those double thickness self inflating beds that are available Grin
