This years Goodwood Festival of Speed photo package has now been compiled and is now ready for sale.
There are a few major changes to this year’s compilation from my previous Goodwood releases. The first change is that I have upgraded my camera equipment. I am now using a digital SLR camera. So I have done away with the film camera I used for the action shots in the past. This means that the picture clarity is a lot clearer than before when the pictures were transferred to CD by the photo processors.

Secondly, due to the upgrade in equipment, the pictures are of a higher resolution, which means that it was impossible to put the pictures onto CD. So this year, the Goodwood FoS release will be on a single DVD, rather than the double CD’s that I offered the past few years. This has also allowed me to again include several other events that I have attended late last year and during the first part of 2005. more on these later. Please be sure that you are capable of viewing a DVD disc either on your PC or TV and DVD player, before placing your order.

Again every picture is sorted into categories and as per last year, the “On the Hill” action shots are again sorted into the correct batches in which they ran up the hill.
Most files in the Goodwood FOS section have been named along with the year of manufacture, type and designation. There are a couple however that I am stuck on so have had to leave these nameless.

Below is a list of the contents of the DVD.

Goodwood Festival of Speed 2005  - 1260 Files, split between 29 folders.

2005 Le Mans 24 Hours - Shots from the Friday pit lane walkabout of the cars stripped down being prepared. As well as race action shots. The total in the Le Mans section is 526 pictures.

2005 BRC Live, - This preseason event for the British Rally Championship took place at an army base with the cars being demonstrated on a stage approx 1 mile long. The cars had many runs during the day with two timed runs at the end of the day. Access to the cars in the paddock area was freely available, so here you will find detail pictures of the top WRC cars of Wilson, Perez, McHale (Ford Focus WRC), Heath (Zebra Skoda) etc. “The Slowly Sideways Group” were also in attendance with a mouth watering array of Group B cars and there are good walk round detail shots of cars such as Lancia 037, Peugeot 205 T16’s, MG 6R4’s, Audi Quattro’s, TR7 V8, Porsche 911, Renault 5 Turbo, and RS200’s. Plus an extensive section of action shots from the rally stage during the day.    BRC Live has 558 pictures in 14 folders.

Here you will find pictures of all classes of tractors competing to pull the weighted sledge down the 110 metre track. Mini’s, Stock, Pro Stock, Limited Modified, 3.5 Tonne Modified and 4.5 Tonne Modified Classes. Some of these beasts are running 5 super charged big block Chevy’s or 3 Allison aero engines and are putting out up to nearly 9000 HP.    2004 Pictures.

2004 LMES Silverstone – Here you will find mainly paddock shots of the historic paddock and the British GT paddock plus a few LMES pictures. There are detail pictures of cars that include the Ford F3L, Thompson Ferrari 365 Daytona, Chevron, Mosler M900 etc.     81 Pictures.

Finally there are 2 folders containing detail shots from the Autosport show of the Nasamax (green fuelled) Reynard Le Mans car, and of the Blomquist and Mikkola’s Mk2 Ford Escort RS1800’s that they competed in on last years Roger Albert Clark Rally.     26 pictures.

Well that’s a run down of what you will find on the 2005 DVD release. Hopefully there is something there to please everyone ! In total there is 4880 files split between 87 folders.

The cost for the DVD, is a very reasonable £8.00p for UK orders or $15 US for overseas orders. These prices include postage and packing costs. This is a slight increase over last years double CD package, but is to cover increased postage costs and Pay Pal fees. However you are getting more than double what you got on a double CD last year. The DVD will be posted out in a bubble pack envelope.

I can accept payment in either cash , cheque or Pay Pal in Pounds Sterling. US Dollars in cash, or funds via Pay Pal. Pay Pal is my preferred method of payment as it does away with actually sending payment via the post and the transaction is instant and easy to keep track of who has ordered and paid. So I would encourage this method as much as possible. I also accept International Money orders, made out in Pounds Sterling only. I under no circumstances accept Western Union Money orders having experienced great difficultly trying to cash one in the past. In my opinion, they aren’t worth the paper they are printed on.

If you are interested in ordering my DVD, please contact me OTB at csc24@blueyonder.co.uk  and I will send you my postal address and details on how to send payment.  Please include “Goodwood” in the e mail subject title so that I recognise your e mail as an order and so it doesn’t get deleted as spam. Thanks.

I would appreciate any orders from the USA, that wish to pay by sending the funds via post, in US Dollars, to contact me soon and send the payment before September, as I have a trip to the USA planned for late September, so that I can use the  funds from those orders whilst on my trip to the US. Alternatively, you can pay by Pay Pal and I could draw the funds from my linked bank account before my trip. Thanks.

Regards
Chris Clark

Quote "Munificent is a lay apostolate devoted to publishing works of contemporary Catholic artists."

There is but one god, and he is about 8 miles of tarmac in France.
