Speedferries have a 9 day sale of return tickets at £50 for car + 5. Travel has to be between 5 September 2005 and 5 September 2006, and there are no restrictions on length of stay or sailing time.

Open tickets can be booked (by booking any departure on 25 Dec) then dated free of charge when you know when you want to travel. Other date changes cost £10.

Each customer can buy up to 10 tickets , single or return.

They don't take caravans and probably not trailers...?

Dear Customer,

SpeedFerries celebrates a successful summer season by putting 10,000 SuperTicketPLUS™ up for sale
SpeedFerries celebrates its successful summer pre-bookings, by putting 10,000 SuperTicketPLUS™ up for sale. The SuperTicketPLUS™ offers great value for all - at the same time being a unique offer for frequent travellers.

To demonstrate the company’s long-term commitment to low cost and attractive offers to cross-Channel Travellers, yet another new feature has been added to the SuperTicket™. It is now possible to book open tickets valid for travel 12 months ahead, and for the first time including the peak summer sailings of 2006. This is a great benefit for all of you who have not yet set a date for your travel.

SuperTicketPLUS™ is valid from 5 September 2005 to 5 September 2006
The SuperTicketPLUS™ offer gives you the opportunity to book (or to park) any ticket for travel on any departure from 5 September this year until 5 September next year at a guaranteed price of £25.

SuperTicketPLUS sale on for 9 days only !
The first 10,000 tickets, sold between the 23 and 31 July 2005, are issued as SuperTicketPLUS™. As long as you see the offer on SpeedFerries’ website the offer is valid.

Fixed Price until 5 September 2006
The SuperTicketPLUS™ has a fixed price of £25 one-way for a standard car + 5 passengers for travel within the period from 5 September 2005 until 5 September 2006.

No restrictions
There are no restrictions on the duration of stay or available sailings within the 12 month period.

Fully Amendable
A booked SuperTicketPLUS™ can be amended for a £10 amendment fee, to any departure (which is not sold out) irrespective of the future price of the new selected sailing. The first transfer of an open SuperTicketPLUS™ to an actual sailing can be made free of charge. Subsequent amendments are subject to fee of £10 each.

Open SuperTicketPLUS™
It is possible to book an open SuperTicketPLUS™. If you have not yet set a date for your travel, you simply select any departure on 25 December 2005. This will automatically classify your booking as an open ticket. The first transfer of an open SuperTicketPLUS™ to an actual sailing can be made free of charge. Subsequent amendments are subject to fee of £10 each.

Max 10 SuperTicketPLUS™ per customer
A maximum of 10 SuperTicketPLUS™ bookings, single or return can be made per customer (10 single trips, 10 return trips or a combination of the two e.g. 3 single trips and 7 return trips).

"I have already booked my ticket prior to this offer"
SpeedFerries is dedicated to offering low cost travel and bringing fairness into the cross-Channel market. During this ongoing process, it is necessary for SpeedFerries to maintain flexibility on pricing and special offers (e.g. due to the competitive environment) and as such we apologise to customers who have purchased their tickets at higher prices prior to the offer. We ask our customers for their understanding during this process of reducing the general market ticket prices to a reasonable level, which in the long run will be of benefit to all.

Sincerely yours,

Curt Stavis
Chief Executive Officer

Chris, they DO take motorcycles.  There was a half dozen on the crossings we made with Speedferries in June.

Its worth keeping your eye on Speedferries pricing as it varies month to month.
Last October booked their Superthingy ticket, the following month it was still available, and in addition they gave you a free return ticket as well, the deal was not backdated, so I didn't qualify for a freebie.
Depends how much bottle you have to get the best deal.
