I think Robbo is right in a way, screened shirts will not hold their colour for ever Undecided

But are cheaper to print and dish out.

Hi
Looks like the colours are standard Reflex Blue and Warm Red, no mixing required.

The copyright thing is a little worry, it's not as if we can just put 'two fingers' up to the organisation. They would probably be quite happy to see it but then would probably wonder why they were not making any money out of it.

Has Paddy had any questions about the large banner he puts up, I take it that has not been to the US.

Nope, then again I never did anything about copyrights whatsoever. Simply always got away with using the Le Mans- and the Hard Rock Cafe-logo. Even though I am trying to become more careful for '06.

Steve was on our scaffolding, was mentioned by Eurosport and Radio Le Mans, but nobody thought anything of it apparently because we never heard anything. The banner was never for sale though, it's still in my company's loft Smiley

It depends what you can get away with at the printers.  If you use somebody's picture you need their permission (i.e. you pay) but there are a lot that don't bother.

I couldn't get the 2003 KKOC T shirt printed because it had a Kanterbrau logo on it.  Perhaps they had just been taken to court, and we do take these things very seriously in the UK.

Now my picture of Paddy's "Two Beers" poster which is itself a picture of a picture leaves me a little confused, but if anyone asks, the copyright is all mine!

Have a word with the printers

Have quite a bit of trouble asking Steve McQueen for his permission ! Grin

I am sure the McQueen family would be honoured anyway for people to want to remember Steve in this way .

Its not like there isn't anyone else using this picture now is it !

IMPORTANT POST.....[/glow][/font]Ok

Spoke to the printers.

We can order the shirts as in Martini's design with the having 2 beers McQueen, The union jack on the sleeve.

These shirts will cost £9.81 each after printing inc vat. So postage would have to be on top, if thats the way you wanted. ( based on at least 71 shirts being sold)

I WILL require very quickly a high resolution version of the front design and the rear.

The size available to accomadate most sizes of shirt is

40 cm x 30 cm screen.

If anyone wishes to get a break down of the cost for the shirt, drop me a line.

WE MUST take the shirts in white due to the printing process and the McQueen print. If we went back to paddies version, we could have any colour.

LAST QUESTION:

Did we / you / i want the club arnage name on the rear, under or above Mr McQueen, simular to Paddies version ??

Amended to say, we shall put it under the piccy.

If it's a similar size to last year's, then I would say yes, below the Steve image.

Hi Robbo

Just a few answers needed

The 40x30 is 40 deep x 30 wide
Both sides are 3 color or is the back just black (I can put the website underneath very easily, it should be somewhere)
You have the a/w for the flag.
What format do you want the artwork
Final artwork will be available this week, but, I do need to have an answer on the breakdown of the back (3 or 1 colour) as the proper separated artwork will take a bit of work.

Robbo, I will burn a CD with the artwork and post to you unless you can receive large files (on broadband?)

Robbo I'd suggest that you make an executive decision on the website name and just go with it!!

The price sounds great to me - presumably we need to add paypay costs or similar on top as well as postage?

If I can do anything to help (collate orders or anything?) just shout - you've done a fab job so far.  Grin

I think the new design is great, and will have 10 of them.  Robbo, I'll let you know the sizes soon - just waiting to get the size of a newbie I will have with me this year.

How much is P&P likely to be - based on the last couple of years.  I would say round it up to £11 or £12 (or whatever), and the change will cover your fuel costs.

Hi

Will sort a/w here and print to size to check then get it off to you soon.

Will do Jpegs but will also supply eps as they may want an easier way to separate the colours. The more formats I send the easier it will be for them. Not a problem

I will add www.clubarnage.com on back under 2 beers.

Excellent stuff everyone!!!! Ilove it when a plan comes together!!!!  Grin

Robbo, let me know if you wnat any help with any of the sorting/packing etc. Hopefully most people will opt for the easy option of collection on site at MB to make your life easier (and to thank you in person) except for those that are off to Sebring of course!

I'll confirm our small order very soon.
