Hope Grand Fromage has already secured permission to use the "2 beers" photo.
The following from a news release by Grand Am following Test days at Daytona.
"On Saturday, No. 73 Tafel Racing Porsche GT3 driver Chad McQueen was injured in a collision with the barrier exiting the chicane at the end of the Daytona Superstretch. McQueen was awake following the incident, and was transported to Halifax Medical Center where he is currently in intensive care in serious condition. McQueen was co-driving the No. 73 machine at Daytona Test Days with Jim Tafel, Mike Cawley and Shawn Price".

Ok. So far , No largefiles e-mailed.

I have tried taking the page from MArtini's web pages, but this will mean the items being re-drawn, and a largger cost probably to us (me).

MArtini - please can you e-mail me the items you put on the web. I am not too PC literature and this is the easiest way.

Thanks

Hello

I like that design for the T-shirt.

When are you taking orders?

In answer to a question posed by someone sometime ago on this thread. Me and a couple of other souls are Team Cannonball. I bought two of last t-shirts and was most impressed, they washed extremely well.

I don't tend to frequent the forum until the month running up to Le Mans, however i was just looking to see if anyone had over ordered tickets, as i'm probably in the market for three tickets for Houx, Houx Annexe, Maison Blanche or Karting Nord.

Hi
If you let me know the dimensions your chap prints to I can supply finished / separated artwork (save you money) in whichever format he wants (Quark, eps, tiff etc) I will need to know the resolution required also.
Are we going for one colour (black) on the back or the full 3 colours?

Also do you know the exact typeface/font for the Club Arnage logo?

I think it will be a lot cheaper to just print the back in one colour but that is up to you.

If you printout the two draft copies I did and send them to your printer he should get you a price or just copy and email the links to him.

I have taken the colour for the Gulf stripes (front and perhaps back) of various pictures of the cars as I am unsure of the exact Pantone colour - unless someone out there knows.

Thanks Paddy
I actually have that link but the logo is not the same as the actual car colours which I think the stripes should be(?)

This is one of the links I have used for the car colours

http://www.maisonblanche.co.uk/gulflm.html

Even the logos on this site are different - more like the cars.

Are we talking about the stripes on Steve's racing coveralls? If so, I thought they were red and blue? Hence the front of the CA t-shirts from the last couple of years (i.e. depicting Steve's outfit

I agree JPC, but I think they are more the colour of the car than the Gulf logo, something I am trying to clarify.

Although on this link the blue is darker

Anyone out there with a replica that might know?

I've got one of the Dakota replica jackets from Alex Reade.

This should give you a good idea of the colours.

Great, thanks Steve, that clears up a whole load as it also shows that the colours are not the same as the Gulf logo or even the car. I presume they have tried to be authentic.

I may be a bit wrong here but I always thought that the idea of the blue / white / red 'Tricolour' on the jacket was to replicate the French flag.

The stripes will be red and blue as always, i am not getting stupid with the "correct" mix of colours, which will get expensive for a shirt worn one weekend a year ??

I was thinking that when I was checking the colours. I think I got the DVD of the LM film free last year with a mag or something, I know I had one in the car when I got home.

I think Robbo is right in a way, screened shirts will not hold their colour for ever Undecided
