The original design was put forward by one of the membership, Big H, on a similar thread to this. Everybody really liked the design and production went ahead. I was just suggesting that Big H might like to contribute to the discussion at some point, when he returns, as his original design had appealed to so many on this forum.

Well, I'm a new member (since LM05). But I'll definitely buy a CA T-shirt. No matter what.
I think it's a great way to recognize other members (like said before in this thread). Makes the party even bigger next year and it's a good way to promote CA. So there will be even more CAers in 2007! And then... world domination!!! (or at least Le Mans domination)
Every option for next year's T has it's good and less good sides... My personal opinion: keep the design the same except for the year.

Like the shirt, its a classic isnt it ?
The rear is boring though, sorry to the designer.
I like Andy Zarce's comment, but does it matter if lots of people keep buying a shirt ? As long as you have one, thats the important bit surely
I want one please Robbo SPS

Just popped in to say, i am still keeping an eye on this thread ( no puns intended) and will still keep it going until December time when the results may show a clear winner.
Anyone who has ideas for designs for bits / pieces , please post up.

Ok, 40 votes, not bad considering we have 1000 members !
And most years i have sold to 60 - 80 differnet people.
What about a different colour, say a blue, light blue or a bottle green ?

Here's an idea. Gulf colours for the t-shirts have been mentioned a couple of times, I have no problem with this as I think they look pretty cool. The two orange stripes could replace the red and blue we have at the moment. With the light blue base colour it would mean the www. thingy on the back could be changed to reflect the French Tricolor which I presume the present stripes on the front represent. Instead of the Union Flag on the sleeve I think it would look good If members from other countries could have their own national flag on the sleeve.
If the two extra colours and the choice of flag put 40-50% on to the cost, what the hell, they will still be bloody good value when you consider that the average band tour shirt is gonna set you back 25/30 quid.

I agree with Bob, I've always fancied the light blue Gulf style.
I also stand by my earlier comments. If the t-shirt remains unchanged except a date, I don't believe they'll be many orders placed.

If the t-shirt remains unchanged except a date, I don't believe they'll be many orders placed. I agree with you there Steve, I'll get my skates on and water colours out and see what happens. Fidget seems to concerned about my boring rear, I hope I can put her mind at rest, - in fact, the rear was as suggested by them upstairs, although I've a couple of ideas which should keep 'em happy. Robbo, are there any cost implications with a coloured or black shirt as background? I would imagine that all the shirts must be identical, and if you want to customize it with your name/flag/favourite team etc, then it's up to the individual, otherwise it will mean too much farting around for the printers. So maybe the Union Jack should go.... H
