C'mon now.  No love for Justin Wilson?   I thought I'd at least see a thread about everyone's favorite Champ Car Brit.

He put down a great move to take the lead and was able to hold off the safety car for the final few laps.  Wink

A nice guy, and an overdue maiden victory.

Cheers!!

The podium is a lot more aesthetic than F1, can't work out why though? Oh yes thats it, 2 ladies getting doused in shampoo.

Yup, my congrats go out to Justin & as a shareholder in Justin Wilson PLC I'm looking forward to a nice dividend this year Wink

He's been quick but unlucky for a few races, hopefully this'll be the first of many wins!! Tracked him down at Le Mans last year when he was driving for the RfH team, very friendly chap (but aren't all Yorkshiremen??)

I just hope he enjoyed himself last night, maybe with the podium girls... Shocked

Was I the only CA member there? Dumbass Tracy took out Bourdaise (?) who was the fastest then ran out of fuel.
Good run by Justin.

Just caught highlights of the race on Motors TV - good race and an excellent result.

Have to say, though, I thought the safety car was the best car on the track.

They are in Edmonton this weekend for the first time.  After Qualify 1 Wilson and his teammate Dinger are the class of the field.  Justin has a decent shot at 2 wins in a row and a sold run at the Vanderbilt Cup!

Allmendinger is the hottest American driver to come out in a long time.  From what I hear he and Scott Speed were HATED rivals in karting.

I was there -- and actually it was dumbass Bourdais who took out Tracy.  Not unlike what he did at Le Mans in 2004.  But it was an exciting race and nice to see a good crowd there as well.

Dumbass Bourdais?  Sorry but he's already accomplished more in his young career than that obnoxious fat-ass Tracy has in his long and under-achieving career, he's had more brain-farts than any champcar driver in history.
