Pretty sure the scum that did this would have id cards and uk passports, besides it did'nt stop the Madrid bomb, But thats a debate for another time.
Lucky I was not in London today, was due in later today but in light of the events the meeting was cancelled.
Looking at the picture of the Bus and seeing it had been turned away from the tube makes me think the worst, 21 dead at one station and at least 33 in total so far, plus many hurt in the blasts.
Hoping for the best, fearing the worst.
I hope which every god these evil SOB's pray to takes them apart, and they burn in there very own hell.

When I posted this thread this morning I was disgusted and appalled at what had happened. Now that the full extent of the fatalities and injuries is becoming known, at least that which we are being told about, I am very very saddened and very very angry. I have personal experience as a victim of a terrorist attack, Kuwait in 1984, and it shakes you through to the bone and beyond. The suffering of all of the victims and their families will go on for years to come and with what objective. So far no one has managed to explain this to me in a way which will allow me to accept what has happened and I guess will continue to happen.
My sincere thoughts go out to all of those affected and believe me, that will not only be the direct victims and their families.
A sad sad day for all of us who value our freedom.

What an insulting way to pursue a cause. Whatever that cause may be.
My thoughts are for anyone personally involved and their relatives.
And my thanks to those in the emergency services and the transport companies for their rapid, efficient and appropriate response.

According to the Secret Organisation of al Qaida " Britain is burning with fear and terror" ? F-ck off are we. We respect the innocent dead and injured and their poor families who have to pick up the pieces, but I hope the do gooders and politically correct pratts now realise that people who intend us harm need to be delt with just swiftly. History has little to do with it, its more to do with a minority of manic egotists and weak willed idiots who allow themselves to be brain washed into doing such things.

I woke up this AM to get ready for work and turned on the TV to see the news while I had my bowl of ceral. I was saddened to see and hear what had happened in London. A month ago, I was at several of the locations we are hearing about here in the US. I happily met JPChenet and his wife at my hotel two blocks from Kings Cross Station. So this deal is very personal to me even though I'm not a Londoner. It was a reminder of 911 and Madrid and a list of other events as long as ones arm where uneducated, misguided pawns of an evil idiology had struck again. It is indeed another sad day for civilized people of the world to tolerate vermin on our soil. I hope none of my fellow CA'ers or your families were physically affected by this but all of us have been emotionally impacted. And as previously posted, we are with you, no matter what country you are from, who believe in freedom. Stay safe. My family and I send our prayers to you. John Evans

My thoughts are with those that have suffered as a result of today.

Whilst I understand and respect the sentiment, I personally cannot agree with this statement. The IRA are/were cowardly, child-murdering monsters. As a father myself, I frequently think of that guy (shame on me, I don't even remember his name) who's son was blown to pieces by the IRA in Warrington. I can only imagine his anguish, but Jesus, how dignified and proud he was, despite the evil acts of those disgusting morons. If there is a hell, I hope they rot in it. They're all vermin and they all need exterminating like the f**k*ng cockroaches that they are (apologies to cockroaches).

There for the grace of god go I. I was in London yesterday as was my father, in and around the Edgware Rd.
I grew up through the IRA bombing London and I rember how everyone was awre of what was happening but would not let it stop them working. Listning to the radio it seems that the spirt is there again.
My heart goes out to all those involved. But we must not/will not let them win.

I suppose that we will now see a backlash aimed at the muslim community in this country.
We have more than our share of racist loonies is this country who will proberbly take this attrocity as an oppertunity to attack innocent law abiding muslims. I am sure that the vast majority of muslims are as shocked and appalled as we are, but that will not stop the lunatic vigilanty element seeing them as fair game. A few beers too many and any ethnic person, home, or business could be seen as a legitimate target. I believe it happened in the States just after 9 11 when any one wearing a turban was deemed to be a terrorist and some were even shot at. I sincerely hope this does not happen as it is a very short slope to slide into total anarchy from which it will be very hard recover

Undoubtedly true. However, were everyone issued with ID cards, the over stretched thin blue line would be able to better identify those that warrant closer scrutiny, a little more easily. I work in a area heavily populated by a Muslim community. For the vast majority of the time, I have found them to be honest, trustworthy and gentle. i just hope that we don't descend into a country of racist witch hunters, where every Tom, Dick and Ali is a suspect.

Whilst I understand and respect the sentiment, I personally cannot agree with this statement. The IRA are/were cowardly, child-murdering monsters. I was not condoning what the IRA did and there are several occasions where warnings were not given. Like The Birmingham Pub Bombings. There was also the Bomb in Coventry where the bomb went off prematurely killing the bomber. But I don't think we would class him as a suicide bomber. There is no such thing as "good or honest" terrorisum. It all just terrorisum. t.

Another sad day in the history of the civilised world. Hopefully we will come out stronger after yet another disrupting attack, let me rephrase that, we will come out stronger. We must not let these fanatics push us down. My thoughts go out to all the families involved in this tragedy Rick, I am glad to hear you are allright!! Hope this goes for everyone I had the pleasure of meeting with at Le Mans.

I am so glad that you guys in London are OK. ID cards would not stop this from happening but might help a little in population control. I dont think that is what is needed however.
Maybe it will come to a general repatriation if the "ethnic community" dont start to keep their own houses in order. A terrible prospect but we should strive for an alternative. Many of these people were born here but still subscribe to the terrorist ideals, frankly, living in / near Brum it scares the hell out of me, who is the next one to have gone bad?
Anyway I am glad that the toll is not as bad as it could have been, keep vigilant, these scum will be back for more, but they won't break us. We will survive and over come.
Bloody hell I sound like a thingy of doom here!!!
